Re: 2006 USAT Club Grant for Team Toledo Triathlon Club

Dear USAT:

Team Toledo Triathlon Club submitted club grant applications during the second grant period in 2006 and was awarded a $1,000 grant. A copy of the letter from USAT is attached.

On behalf of the members and board of Team Toledo, we would like to thank you again for the grant and for offering a program like this to help club finances. It certainly went a long way this year.

The $1000 Grant was used as follows:

1) Open Water Swims - $720 of the grant funds went toward payment of our swim practices our club sponsors each summer. Payment was made from our treasury via check to Olander Park System, Sylvania, OH, the owner and operator of the lake where our swim practices are held. This fully funded the swims for the year 2006! Thank you!

A copy of the canceled check (both sides) is attached. Check is dated 6/9/2006 fulfilling the club's obligation to use the funds by November 1, 2006.

2) Club Picnic - The remaining $280 was used to pay for a portion of our annual club picnic. Please see attached receipts for the picnic showing the total cost borne by Team Toledo for putting on the event. This event was held on 7/20. Total cost for the picnic was in excess of $600.

Again, we thank you for your support of our club activities in 2006 via the USAT Club Grant.
