About 25 people attended the Kona Party at Woodchuck's on Erie Street. Several braved the streets of Downtown Toledo for a very enjoyable run going past the Amtrack station, along the old Warehouse district past the Maumee Bay Brewing Co at the Oliver house, and then along the riverfront through Commodore Island and the Owens Corning headquarters. After a glorious view of the new Veterans Skyway bridge the route went through the heart of downtown before going past 5/3 Field and back to Erie Street Market.

The by-laws changes passed unanimously by those present. Team Toledo membership will now run from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31.

Liz Young won the Chili Cook-off in a very close vote.

As usual the Kona telecast was inspirational and uplifting. It reminded us of why we are triathletes.
