National Club Challange Info
The National Challenge Competition (NCC) is designed
to get participants excited about off-season training at the club level. The NCC will
feature three sessions, one month each, from December to February, in which Clubs will
record their training miles and see which Clubs meet the benchmarks first. All sessions
will include swim, bike, and run, but one sport will be highlighted for each session.
Competition Benchmarks: Team Toledo can earn session award entries by reaching
the session benchmark early in the month. We need all Team Toledoians (current club
members) to help propel the club to the benchmarks by completing miles and submitting
their progress to the Club. The club will then record the mileage on the
NCC website.
Mileage in all three disciplines will be recorded each month but only the featured
discipline will count towards the session entries.
Benchmarks
December - Swim 500 miles
January - Bike 5,000 miles
February - Run 2,500 miles
How do you get involved? Remember, the benchmarks are for the club, so we need everyone
to pitch in and record their mileage each day. On Dec. 1, 2007, start recording your
mileage as you workout in each sport. The December goal is 500 miles of swimming, so
put on your swim cap and hit the water!
