Fifteen people turned out for the second time trial of the season. Cool spring-like temperatures with a slight northerly wind and a few showers greeted the participants. Tom Dankert topped the 2-lap bunch with the handicap. Wayne Crowther bested the one-lappers with the handicap.

The handicap is calculated by measuring the difference between the racer's best time and a standard time of 25 min for 1 lap and 45 min for two laps. From that value, an additional one second is deducted for each 15 sec of difference between the standard time and the racer's best time. For example if a racer's best time for 2 laps is 46:05, the handicap will be calculated by measuring the difference between 45 min and 46:05, which is 1:05. From that, an additional 4 sec are deducted for the four 15 sec increments in 1:05, making the handicap 1:01.
