Questions About Time Trials?

  • Do I have to be a super-fast bike-snob to enjoy time trialing?

    • Absolutely not!!! Anyone can Time Trial. It's just you against the clock with the support of your teammates to encourage you to give it your all. Time trials are valuable mental and physical training opportunities for athletes of any level of fitness or skill. ​

  • Do I have to have a tri-bike to time trial?

    • No again!!! All bikes are welcome. ​

  • Is this a race?​

    • No, our time trials are not races. These are training opportunities the same as our swims and track workouts. We choose locations that do not have much car traffic and we will have flagmen at each corner, but these are open roads and no prizes are given out.​

  • What do I need to bring?

    • Bring yourself, your bike and a helmet. These are required items to race. You also must be a current club member (you can sign-up at the TT). ​ Water and nutrition are recommended.

  • What else do I need to know?

    • All TT's will start at 6:30PM, but PLEASE SHOW UP EARLY. Sign-ins will start at 6PM, the first rider will launch at 6:00. ​Getting there at 6 or even a little before gives you time to sign-in and warm-up before the ride starts.
